We can work at our client’s location or virtually, adapting quickly to our client’s environment and corporate culture to build partnerships inside the organization and within the local community.

Our 100% female-owned and certified company was founded in 1988 by Nikki Teik, a driven and innovative HR professional who recognized the need for customized Human Resources consulting services, where there was a void for such specialized services for HR practitioners.
Ossanna started in the 1980s at a time when there was a gap of business solutions providers, customized to the HR function. With her roots in diversity and technology, Nikki set out to establish the model of contract recruiting and HR project management provided onsite at initial clients such as Apple Computer, Motorola, Quaker Oats, Hewitt Associates and Walgreens. With this industry in its infancy, the model quickly replicated and expanded locally, nationally and globally and is still grounded in the simple core values of integrity, delivery, cost savings and adding value to each and every relationship we have.
Ossanna has grown to be one of the most recognized names and pioneers in the HR consulting business with the most extensive database of HR talent and endless list of satisfied clients worldwide.

Founder and President
With roots in Milwaukee Wisconsin, Nikki was educated at Cardinal Stritch College and the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater. Her degree is in Business and Human Resources Management. Building on her corporate HR experiences with Comdisco Inc. and a strong network within the diversity and technology communities, Nikki launched Ossanna on 08/08/1988.
Beginning as an onsite HR consultant for Apple Computer, until today, Nikki has shown up to service her clients and candidates with the same goals: to be productive, learn, grow, listen, laugh, be passionate, be real, have fun and ALWAYS do the right thing for every single person she comes in contact with.

Senior Director, Recruiting
Suzy has been contributing to the success of Ossanna since 2004. She has spent her entire professional career in recruiting and staffing, search, business and client development; working with mid, upper, and executive-level professionals. Prior to joining Ossanna, Suzy cut her teeth in corporate HR at Citigroup, Sears and IBM. It is this background that has served our clients and consultants well as a “professional matchmaker” in the Human Resources space. Suzy brings specific knowledge of employer needs and requirements, plus first-hand experience of what it takes to bring the best HR talent through the door.
In today’s competitive business environment, companies are demanding excellence from their Human Resources function. Suzy partners closely with candidates, using a wealth of knowledge to provide valuable tips and insider knowledge on the current job market and important trends. She provides invaluable coaching and career advice as to how best present your credentials for that all-important next career move.

With 10 plus years of experience at Ossanna, Mariaelena manages the day-to-day operations. Her duties include interacting with clients, candidates, consultants and internal staff, process onboarding documentation, handle the processing of all certifications, vendor management, contracts administration and overseeing all the administrative functions at Ossanna.

As our HR Assistant, Donna is the friendly voice you hear at the other end of the line when you call our office. In addition to answering the phone and greeting visitors, she handles payroll processing, accounts payable, scheduling, database management, event planning and many other behind the scene activities that keep our office running efficiently.
Before joining Ossanna in January of 2013, Donna built an impressive career at Motorola exclusively in the finance sector. However, since coming to Ossanna, she has fully embraced the ever-changing and multi-faceted world of Human Resources.
She says, “I am thoroughly enjoying working in the HR field and the daily interaction with people of such varying backgrounds and experience. No two days have been the same since I started! Christine brings over 15 years of recruiting experience with her to Ossanna. She worked for four agencies in the Chicago market prior to joining Ossanna and mainly focused on permanent placement recruiting and business development for Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Administrative, Human Resources and Marketing.
Since joining Ossanna in 2013, Christine has broadened her network and sharpened her focus to the Human Resources space. She is responsible for full life cycle recruiting, sourcing and business development in the Chicago market and nationwide. This includes placing consultants, contract to hire and permanent placement of professionals across all areas of Human Resources.
Christine has helped to expand our consultant and client networks and energized our delivery to clients. She has demonstrated an amazing ability to quickly hunt and locate talent, screen candidates and match them to the client’s needs, with a keen eye for quality and fit.
Christine holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Wyoming and has completed several professional trainings focused on recruiting, sourcing and business development.LinkedIn
Julie is an accomplished and perceptive Senior Recruiter with 20 years of experience in full cycle, high volume professional level recruitment. She joined the Ossanna team in 2015. She started her career in temporary staffing with JobGiraffe (formerly Paige Personnel) and through her tenure there she held many roles ranging from consultant to Branch manager supporting multiple locations and direct hire placement. Finding the right people for the right job at the right time is what Julie does best. Throughout her career, she has built many long term relationships with her clients which spread across multiple industries. Julie has had the pleasure of seeing many of her candidates become her clients.
